Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does the organizer come to me?
I come to you for the free 1 hour consultation and to work on the project as well.
  • How involved do I need to be throughout the process?
You can be as involved as you prefer! The most involvement I will need from you is during the sorting & purging process. Once that process is completed, I am happy to work on my own. If you would like, however, please feel free to be part of the entire process.
  • How can I maintain the organized space?
You can maintain what we have crated by doing a maintenance everyday as part of your routine. everyone in your home should take their responsibility and get involved, small attainable goals will be set up for you and I meet you in the middle, never making you do things that are too foreign or difficult for you to do, or it will be a waste of time and money. I also take the time to follow up with you and see you how you are doing after we have finished working together. We take the time to develop personalized strategies & systems that will work for you and your family long-term. Our goal at the end of the project is to leave you with a beautifully organized space that you can maintain on your own. If you are too busy to maintain the space on your own, or would like me to come in to refresh the space, I would be happy to do so.
  • What happens during a consultation?
I come to visit you at the location of the project. First, we’ll look at the space that needs help and then discuss what you like and don’t like about the space/s that you want to work on. I will assess your space/s, challenges, listen to you and hear your ideas, your wish list and your priorities. Next, I will create a plan that fits your needs and we will work together to make a game plan on how to move forward.

First, it is important to remember that it is extremely important to start with small attainable goals. I would suggest starting where you feel the most stress, the area that looks the worst, or the area that is most critical to your family or office functioning. Second, I would suggest that we start out with a wish list of everything that you want to get done and we go from there and then we prioritize what needs to get done first and we have to have a discussion about time and money.
