Start a box inventory: number each box, label contents and destination room, mark fragile items and “this side up.” Update your list daily.

Seal and stack as many packed boxes as possible.

Transfer medical, school, or vet records.

Get your vehicle(s) serviced if moving long-distance.

Refill prescriptions needed during and after the move.

✅ 1 Week Before Your Move

Fill empty space in boxes with towels, blankets, or packing paper and seal them.

Pack a suitcase for each household member with enough clothing and personal items for a few days.
